Chris is currently the Scenic Design Instructor at The University of Alabama. He received his M.F.A. in Scenic Design from Indiana University and his B.F.A. in Technical Theatre with an emphasis on Scenic Design and Technical Direction from The University of Idaho. Between undergrad and graduate school, Chris worked for five seasons at Flat Rock Playhouse, where he was the Associate Scene Designer and Intern Director. While there, he had the opportunity to work on over 50 productions, design numerous shows, as well as assisting on many more. Some of Chris' favorite designs include The Last Five Years, James and the Giant Peach, Over the River and Through the Woods, and Crimes of the Heart.
